University of Lahore Student Dies After Jumping from Building, Police Launch Investigation

Lahore (HRNW)- In a tragic incident at the University of Lahore, 21-year-old student Fatima jumped to her death from the third floor. According to police sources, before the incident, Fatima made her last phone call to Ahmed Bilal, a resident of her native Narang Mandi, which lasted for 27 minutes.

Sources say that a few minutes after the phone call, Fatima jumped from the university building. During the initial investigation, Ahmed Bilal has stated that the two had been in contact for the past two years and wanted to get married, however, both families denied this relationship. Allegedly, Fatima took the extreme step due to this heartbreak.

According to the police, Ahmed Bilal’s father is a retired government employee, while Ahmed Bilal has been taken into custody for interrogation and investigations are underway from all aspects of the incident.

The police and university administration are gathering more details about the incident, while the student’s death has sparked a wave of deep sorrow and concern among academic circles and students.
