Nairobi (HRNW) – UN Women has launched a multi-country program aimed at strengthening gender-inclusive climate resilience.
The initiative focuses on empowering women in climate-vulnerable communities through leadership training, economic support, and policy engagement.
Officials emphasized that women are disproportionately affected by climate change and must be central to adaptation strategies.
