U.S. Threatens New Sanctions Over ICC Case Against Trump

Washington (HNRW) — The United States has issued a strong warning to the International Criminal Court (ICC), stating that no investigations should be conducted against President Donald Trump or other senior officials, or else new sanctions will be imposed.

U.S. officials added that if necessary, the court’s foundational statutes may be amended to ensure exceptions for the U.S. president and other senior officials, limiting the court’s authority in these matters.
