Two Suspects Identified in Murder of Student Leader Usman Hadi

Dhaka (HRNW)- Two people involved in the murder of Usman Hadi, a leader of the student movement against Hasina Wajid, have been identified.

Sharif Usman Hadi, who was among the front-line leaders of the nationwide student movement against Sheikh Hasina Wajid’s authoritarian government, was injured in an assassination attempt and spent several days struggling for life before he met his true God.

Protests are being held across Bangladesh to arrest Usman Hadi’s killers, and protesters are also directly blaming India for the murder.

Two people involved in the murder of Usman Hadi were identified yesterday as Faisal Karim Masood and Muhammad Alamgir Sheikh. Police say both suspects are affiliated with the banned Chhatra League, the student wing of Sheikh Hasina’s party, the Awami League.
