Washington (HRNW)- US President Donald Trump has said that Iran wants a deal with the United States, but only Iran knows what deadline they have been given. President Trump added that he will not reveal his military plan against Iran yet, and that the United States is fully prepared to use its powerful naval forces.
President Trump also announced that he played a role in preventing the execution of 837 people in Iran.
Meanwhile, the United States has imposed new sanctions on the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, including Iran’s interior minister and intelligence chief. US officials say the sanctions are in response to Iran’s terrorist plans and violations of international law.
President Trump’s statement has continued to heighten tensions in the region, while the international community has urged the United States and Iran to resolve the issue peacefully through negotiations.
