Islamabad (HRNW) – The number of superflu cases is rapidly increasing across the country, prompting medical experts to issue strict warnings to the public against taking colds and flu lightly.
Health experts say that the superflu spreading during the current season is not an ordinary flu but is linked to the influenza A (H3N2) virus, which is more dangerous and spreads much faster than the common seasonal flu.
According to medical professionals, the symptoms of superflu are more severe than those of a normal cold and include severe headache, high fever, intense cough, sore throat, severe body and muscle pain, and unusual fatigue.

Experts have warned that in several cases, patients also experience breathing difficulties. They have advised that anyone showing such symptoms should immediately consult a doctor, as delayed treatment can lead to serious complications.
Doctors further cautioned that if the spread of superflu continues to rise, hospitalization and even ventilator support may become necessary, particularly for children, elderly people, and those suffering from underlying health conditions. The public has been urged to take preventive measures, wear masks, maintain hygiene, and avoid crowded places.
