KHARTOUM / GENEVA (HRNW)— As the conflict in Sudan hits its 1,000th day, the World Health Organization (WHO) warns that the nation’s health system is on the brink of total collapse. Over 13 million people have been uprooted, creating the world’s largest displacement crisis. In the North Kordofan region, drone strikes continue to claim civilian lives, including children. With one-third of health facilities non-functional and widespread hunger affecting 21 million people, Sudan has become the world’s most severe humanitarian emergency.
Support the Cause: Sudan is often a forgotten crisis. Support HRNW to ensure that these atrocities remain on the global agenda and that the victims are not forgotten.
