Gujranwala (HRNW)- A tragic incident took place in Habibpura, where a stepmother allegedly killed her 7-year-old daughter and threw the body into a drain.
According to police, after committing the crime, the accused woman and her accomplice disposed of the child’s body in a nearby drain. When the girl was reported missing, police immediately launched an investigation.
CCTV footage showed the suspects riding a motorcycle while carrying something concealed, raising police suspicion. They were taken into custody for questioning and later confessed to the crime.
Police have stated that further investigations are underway, and the suspects will be brought to justice in accordance with the law.
