Sri Lanka Beats Pakistan by 14 Runs in Rain-Shortened T20I, Series Drawn 1-1

Dambulla (HRNW)- Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan by 14 runs in the third and final T20I, leveling the three-match series at 1-1.

The match was delayed due to rain and was reduced to 12 overs. Pakistan won the toss and elected to field against Sri Lanka. Batting first, Sri Lanka scored 160 for 6.

Captain Dusun Shanaka scored 34 and Kusal Mendis scored 30 runs. Janth Lianghe and Dananjaya de Silva scored 22 runs each. Wasim Junior took 3 wickets for Pakistan, while Mohammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf and Naseem Shah took one wicket each.

Chasing a target of 161 runs, Pakistan could only score 146 for 8 in the allotted 12 overs.

Pakistan won the first match of the series while the second match was abandoned due to rain.
