Karachi (HRNW)- Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar has taken notice of the sudden and alleged entry of the police into the house of journalist Imdad Soomro and expressed his anger.
The Sindh Home Minister said that entry into the house of a citizen without notice and warrant is unacceptable and the law is equal for all. He has ordered the concerned SSP to conduct an inquiry.
Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar further said that misuse of powers will not be tolerated and respect and protection of journalists will be ensured at all costs.
This move is proof that the Sindh government is serious about implementing the law and protecting civil rights.
