Karachi (HRNW) — The Constitutional Bench of the Sindh High Court heard a petition concerning illegal construction in Liaquat Ashraf Colony, Mahmoodabad.
The court has issued notices to the SBCA (Sindh Building Control Authority) and other relevant authorities and has asked all parties to submit their responses by February 2.
According to the petitioner, Muhammad Ilyas, a five-story building is being constructed next to his plot, whereas construction regulations permit only ground plus one floor in the area. The petitioner stated that the builder is violating these rules by constructing a five-story structure.
