Karachi (HRNW)– The Sindh High Court has granted bail to accused Tariq, who was facing charges of attempting to obtain a US visa using allegedly forged documents.

During the hearing, Tariq’s lawyer, Raj Ali Wahid Kanwar Advocate, argued that the documents were neither forged nor submitted by Tariq and that the complaint by the US Consulate arose due to a misunderstanding involving other members of the same group. He stated that no illegal action was taken by Tariq and that he did not violate immigration laws.
The public prosecutor maintained that a case had been registered against Tariq based on suspicious visa documents submitted to the US Consulate. After reviewing the arguments, the court granted bail and directed Tariq to provide a surety bond of Rs 1 million.
