Karachi (HRNW)- Provincial Food Minister Makhdoom Mehboob-uz-Zaman has taken strict action against mismanagement in the food department and has ordered the suspension and transfer of several officers.
According to the details, Assistant Food Controller Larkana Abdul Waseem Jamali, Assistant Food Controller Sukkur Qaribullah Soomro and Assistant Food Controller Umerkot Vishwan Das have been suspended. Similarly, food supervisors of Shikarpur and Madeji have also been suspended and removed from their posts with immediate effect.
Moreover, District Food Controller Jamshoro Zahid Hussain Imrani and District Food Controller Ghotki Hakim Ali Mehr have been transferred.
Provincial Food Minister Makhdoom Mehboob-uz-Zaman says that a zero tolerance policy has been adopted to restore discipline in the food department and the accountability process is being further accelerated. He clarified that indiscriminate action will continue against irresponsible officers so that transparency and better performance can be ensured in the food department.
