Sindh Excise Department Reports Results of Province-Wide Road Checking Campaign

Karachi, Pakistan (HRNW)- Under the direction of the Provincial Minister for Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Sindh, the Excise Department has released the results of its road checking campaign conducted across Sindh from October 27 to December 31, 2025.

According to the department spokesperson, a total of 80,269 vehicles were inspected during the campaign, generating PKR 46,856,750 in fines and outstanding motor vehicle taxes.

The results by division are as follows:

  • Karachi Division: 26,723 vehicles checked, PKR 16,183,211 collected
  • Hyderabad Division: 18,874 vehicles checked, PKR 8,512,700 collected
  • Sukkur Division: 5,073 vehicles checked, PKR 1,437,670 collected
  • Larkana Division: 9,018 vehicles checked, PKR 6,792,906 collected
  • Mirpurkhas Division: 11,401 vehicles checked, PKR 6,190,253 collected
  • Shaheed Benazirabad Division: 9,189 vehicles checked, PKR 7,740,010 collected

The Excise Department stated that the campaign will continue to raise public awareness about tax compliance and ensure adherence to traffic laws, promoting safer and more responsible road use.
