Sindh Education Minister Orders Immediate End to Illegal Examination and IT Charges by Boards

Karachi (HRNW)- Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah has taken immediate notice of complaints of some education boards in the province illegally charging examination fees or IT charges from students.

The Education Minister said that education is free in Sindh and collection of fees or any kind of additional charges is not allowed. He clarified that education is recognized as a fundamental right and fees have been abolished at all stages from admission to examination.

Syed Sardar Ali Shah has directed the Secretaries Colleges to contact the Secretary Universities and Boards and ensure that no fee is charged by the boards.

Furthermore, the principals of the colleges have also been ordered not to charge any kind of fee from the students and to fully implement this directive.
