Sindh Education Department to Install Solar Systems in Schools Across Province

Karachi (HRNW)- The Sindh Education Department has decided to install solar systems in schools across the province, with the aim of providing alternative energy to educational institutions deprived of electricity and ensuring continuity of education in schools.

The Education Department has issued instructions to officers of various districts for solarization of schools. In this regard, detailed reports have been sought from district officers so that the process of installing solar systems can be started at the earliest.

According to the Education Department, schools deprived of electricity will be converted to solar energy on a priority basis, while instructions have also been issued to send a list of schools for solarization within three days.

The department has made it clear to the district officers that the work of installing solar systems in schools should be completed on a priority basis. All the information prepared in this regard will be sent to the Energy Department so that the project can be implemented.

According to officials, solarization will solve the energy problems in schools and improve the quality of education.
