Karachi (HRNW)- Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman does not even leave his seat, he should leave his seat so that someone else can come. He made it clear that no one will be allowed to block traffic on Shar-e-Faisal or put citizens in trouble on February 14 and strict action will be taken against any such attempt.
In his statement, the Sindh Chief Minister said that he has heard that Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman is going to hold a sit-in on February 14, elections are being held in the country, he should participate in the elections. He said that those who are being called the occupying force are the elected representatives of the people.
Murad Ali Shah further said that a judicial inquiry has been announced into the Gul Plaza tragedy, while cheques of Rs 10 million have also been issued to the families of the 26 people who were martyred in this tragic incident.
The Sindh Chief Minister said that the government will take all possible steps to protect the lives and property of the people and maintain peace and order in the city, and no one will be allowed to take citizens hostage.
