Karachi (HRNW)- Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has announced the release of a total of Rs 21.53 billion for the improvement of Karachi’s infrastructure, out of which Rs 13 billion has been allocated purely for the rehabilitation of roads.
As indicated by the Mayor Karachi, work will be done on 409 dilapidated roads, including patchwork of 400 roads in 7 districts and complete reconstruction of 9 roads.
The Sindh Chief Minister has directed the KMC to immediately rehabilitate 26 major highways of the city and provide financial assistance to 24 town municipal corporations. He stressed that quality and transparency should be ensured in all projects.
