Karachi (HRNW) — A shooting incident near Jamshed Quarter Pump left a police officer and a civilian injured. The injured officer has been identified as Rana Nisar, and the civilian as Shahid.
According to police, motorcycle-riding robbers attempted to loot Rana Nisar, who returned fire, resulting in both the officer and the civilian being wounded. Following the incident, the suspects fled the scene.
Both injured individuals have been transferred to a hospital. Police confirmed that the civilian is a local resident and works in painting services.
The crime scene unit is collecting evidence, and authorities stated that investigations are ongoing while the search for the fleeing suspects continues.
