Shikarpur (HRNW)– Under the leadership of SSP Shikarpur Shahzeeb Chachar, Shikarpur police have continued a crackdown across the district targeting proclaimed offenders, absconders, and wanted suspects.
In a major operation at Rahimabad Link Road, Thana Khanpur police arrested two suspects, identified as Abdal Sattar Banglani and Sadu Banglani, who were named in a murder case. The suspects reportedly killed the victim, Hamal Banglani, after he refused to convene a jirga to resolve a family dispute. The suspects and the victim are said to be close relatives.
The murder case was registered at Thana Khanpur by the victim’s wife, Gul Pari. SSP Shikarpur had issued a murder notice and formed a dedicated team led by the concerned SHO to apprehend the suspects. The operation was successfully carried out by SHO Thana Khanpur Ayaz Ali Khakhrani with his staff.
SSP Shikarpur commended the officers and team involved in the arrest. Further investigation is ongoing, and operations are underway to apprehend other suspects involved in the incident.
