Gaza (HRNW)- Thousands of patients in Gaza are at risk of a severe shortage of medicines and medical supplies due to a lack of essential medicines, the Gaza Health Ministry said.
The Ministry of Health said that the shortage of laboratory tests and blood bank equipment has reached 59 percent, causing severe difficulties in diagnosis and emergency treatment.
Doctors working in Gaza hospitals said that many medicines that are essential to save patients’ lives have been completely exhausted. Doctors say that due to limited resources, it is not possible for patients to recover and the situation has deteriorated to an alarming level.
