Rawalpindi – Pakistan (HRNW)- Security forces successfully repelled a terrorist attack on their camp in North Waziristan, preventing what could have been a large-scale tragedy. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the assailants launched an assault early in the morning, but troops responded swiftly and neutralized four terrorists in a fierce exchange of fire.
During the operation, four Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom, fighting bravely to protect their comrades and civilians in the area. The incident also left 15 civilians injured, including women and children, who were promptly shifted to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.
The ISPR confirmed that security forces have cordoned off the area and initiated a comprehensive search operation to eliminate any remaining threats. Military officials reaffirmed their resolve that the fight against terrorism will continue relentlessly until every enemy of peace is brought to justice.
