Karachi (HRNW)– Admin Society 400, House No. B 190, Block No. 3, 3rd floor demolition was done in 2022 on the order of the Sindh High Court. Now the third and fourth floors were under construction. During the operation, the demolition team of the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) was attacked by angry people. The attackers also opened fire, as a result of which four officials including Assistant Director Fayyaz were injured.
According to SBCA officials, the injured have been immediately shifted to a nearby private hospital in critical condition where they are being provided medical assistance.
Authorities say that a police team was called after the incident, while the SBCA team was stopped from working at the spot due to resistance from the angry people. According to officials, the operation will be repeated with more personnel.
