Taif (HRNW)– Saudi police have arrested 13 Pakistani nationals from the Taif area and presented them in court following a series of sheep theft cases reported in the suburbs of the city.
According to Saudi media, residents had filed multiple complaints at the local police station after witnessing a sharp rise in livestock theft. Acting on these reports, authorities formed a special investigation team that conducted surveillance, intelligence gathering, and coordinated reconnaissance.

As a result of a joint operation involving various security forces, police successfully traced and arrested all 13 suspects. Officials confirmed that solid evidence links the suspects—all Pakistani nationals—to the theft incidents. Their passports have been confiscated, and legal proceedings are underway.
Authorities noted that theft is considered a severe offense in Saudi Arabia, carrying harsh penalties, including possible hand amputation.
