Riyadh (HRNW)- The Saudi cabinet welcomed the second phase of the Gaza peace plan and supported Trump’s Board of Peace.
The Saudi cabinet meeting was held in Riyadh under the chairmanship of His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz. In the meeting, the cabinet welcomed the second phase of the peace plan for the Gaza Strip and supported Donald Trump’s Board of Peace.
The Saudi cabinet reviewed the regional and international situation, welcomed the second phase of the comprehensive peace plan in Gaza, and the start of the work of the Palestinian National Committee for the administration of the Gaza Strip.
The ministers stressed the need for implementing the ceasefire in Gaza and providing humanitarian assistance, called for the return of the Palestinian Authority to the territory and the end of Israeli occupation, and called for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state inevitable.
The meeting also approved a memorandum of understanding on Pak-Saudi cooperation in the energy sector.
