Riyadh (HRNW)– Saudi Arabia and Russia have signed a landmark agreement allowing citizens of both nations to travel visa-free for up to 90 days.
According to Arab media, the agreement was finalized in Riyadh during the Saudi-Russian Investment and Business Forum. The ceremony was attended by Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, while the agreement was formally signed by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and the Russian Deputy Prime Minister.

Under the new policy, holders of all passport categoriesâdiplomatic, special, and ordinaryâcan enter the other country without a visa for purposes such as tourism, business, or visiting family and friends. Travelers may stay for 90 days continuously or cumulatively within a calendar year.
Officials say the move will significantly boost tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between the two nations. However, the visa-free arrangement does not apply to employment, education, Hajj, or Umrah.
The agreement reflects the commitment of both countries to deepen strategic ties by reducing travel barriers and enhancing people-to-people connection.
