Riyadh/Doha (HRNW)– Saudi Arabia and Qatar have signed a formal agreement on the region’s most important travel project, which will connect the two countries via a 785-kilometer-long electric rail line.

According to officials, the modern high-speed train will dramatically reduce the travel time between Riyadh and Doha to just 2 hours, which is expected to significantly increase trade, tourism and people-to-people contacts between the two countries.
The project will play an important role in further strengthening the relations between the two brotherly countries by giving a new dimension to travel facilities in the Gulf region.
