Karachi (HRNW)– Hasnain Ali Chauhan, a senior leader of the Insaf Lawyers Forum and prominent legal expert in Karachi, has expressed deep concern over the increasing incidents of oppression and lawlessness in the country, saying they constitute a serious violation of citizens’ fundamental rights and hinder Pakistan’s development and prosperity. He warned that the systematic erosion of justice has created widespread despair and uncertainty among the public, demanding urgent corrective measures.

Hasnain Ali Chauhan strongly condemned the atrocities committed against PTI leadership outside Adiala Jail, stating that the use of force against peaceful citizens and political leaders is unacceptable in any democratic society. He called for the immediate removal of restrictions on meetings with Imran Khan and stressed that full access should be granted to ensure justice and transparency.
Criticising the government, he said that the illegitimate administration has burdened every Pakistani citizen with debts exceeding PKR 350,000, while inflation has surged to alarming levels, unemployment has reached historic highs, industries are closing, and foreign investors are withdrawing from the country. He urged policymakers to act decisively and end the “Form 47” administration to restore democracy and economic stability.
Hasnain Ali Chauhan further emphasised that the systematic undermining of justice and flawed government policies have impeded national progress, and without immediate corrective action, public despair and uncertainty will only deepen. He highlighted that state institutions are accountable to the law and underlined the importance of respecting the public mandate.
