Tel Aviv (HRNW)- Israeli military radio reports that the number of US troops in the Middle East has reached a record high this week, marking the largest presence since the June operations against Iran last year. The deployment, dubbed Ironclad, includes 812 Tomahawk missiles ready for immediate use, coinciding with a visit to Tel Aviv by US Central Command head Brad Cooper.
According to Arab media, Israeli defense circles view this deployment as a strong military warning, signaling the possibility of a large-scale attack or regime-change pressure on Iran. Despite continuous contact with the US military, no operational coordination has been confirmed regarding Iran, leaving the situation uncertain until President Donald Trump’s final decision.
The US has reiterated its stance that Iran will not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons, as stated in the latest US National Defense Strategy. Iranian officials have responded with warnings, asserting that the country is on high alert and will treat any attack as an all-out war, promising the strongest retaliation even against limited or surgical strikes.
