Karachi (HRNW) — YouTuber Rajab Butt’s lawyer, Mian Ali Ashfaq, has filed a complaint in Sindh Bar Council stating that the complainant, Advocate Riaz Solangi, along with Fatah Chandio and others, were involved in the assault on Rajab Butt. The complaint requests legal action against them and the suspension of their law licenses.
According to the lawyer, Rs. 300,000 also went missing during the assault, making legal action necessary.
The complaimt argues that the incident involving the victimized YouTuber has undermined the sanctity of the judicial system and that immediate action should be taken against those responsible.
The council has scheduled a hearing on the complaint and has called for a detailed report on the incident from the police and relevant authorities.
