FIA Detains 3 NADRA Officials Over Illegal CNIC Issuance

Quetta (HRNW) — The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Quetta has arrested three NADRA officials for allegedly issuing Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) to foreigners illegally.

The arrested officials include Anwar Shah from NADRA Quetta Regional Head Office, and Junior Executives Akhtar Shah and Khawaja Waqas from the Chaman Zone. According to FIA sources, these officials were providing CNICs to foreigners in exchange for large sums of money, which enabled them to obtain Pakistani passports and travel to Saudi Arabia.
