The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) has expressed deep concern over persistent violence against women and children in Punjab. Despite thousands of registered cases last year, conviction rates remain extremely low. The HRCP emphasized the urgent need for gender-sensitive investigation methods, effective prosecution, and transparent reporting to ensure justice for victims.
