Lahore (HRNW)- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has approved the issuance of interest-free loans for people living in joint families to expand their homes. Under this initiative, family members will be able to get interest-free loans to expand their existing roof or house.
According to official sources, the target of construction of 160,000 houses has been set by June 2026 under the Apni Chhat, Apni Ghar project. In addition, the allotment of 1,534 plots was also approved so that deserving people can be provided with an opportunity to build their own houses on their own land.
This initiative is part of the provincial government’s policy to improve domestic housing and provide financial facilities to citizens.
