Islamabad (HRNW)- The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has warned mobile users against fraud through fake calls and UAN numbers.
The PTA has said in a message on social media that scammers have started impersonating PTA, FIA and banks to steal personal and financial information of users.
The authority clarified that no government agency will ever ask you for OTP, PIN, identity card or biometric information through a call or message.
The PTA has directed mobile users to remain vigilant and verify their information only through official and authentic channels.
