Islamabad (HRNW)- In the wake of the increasing cases of WhatsApp hacking across the country, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has so far blocked links to 6.4 million websites.
The PTA Chairman said that this number is quite high in South Asia and it is clear that the seriousness of this problem cannot be ignored.

He added that during the ban on X (formerly Twitter), our requests were not being effectively looked into, however, after the opening of X, PTA’s requests are being looked into again and are helping in taking action on hacking cases.
The PTA Chairman directed citizens to further strengthen their online security measures and be cautious of suspicious links or unsafe websites.
