Islamabad (HRNW): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid rich tribute to former Prime Minister Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, stating that she rendered unmatched services for the promotion of democracy, protection of public rights, and the strengthening of the Federation of Pakistan.
In his message issued on the martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, the Prime Minister said that she played a vital role in promoting political tolerance and democratic values, which remain a proud part of her political legacy. He added that patriotism was a defining feature of her leadership.
Shehbaz Sharif said that the services of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto for the country and the nation will always be remembered, adding that her political legacy continues to inspire generations.
The Prime Minister further stated that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto took significant steps for the empowerment of women and the protection of minority rights, and worked tirelessly to make Pakistan a peaceful, progressive, and democratic state.
He said that her sacrifices and services are a guiding light for the nation, and reaffirmed the resolve to continue moving forward on the path of tolerance, rule of law, democratic values, and public welfare.
The Prime Minister concluded by praying that Allah Almighty grant Shaheed Benazir Bhutto a high place in Jannah and bless her family and admirers with patience and strength.
