Islamabad (HRNW)- President Asif Ali Zardari has congratulated the people of Pakistan, students, teachers and parents on the occasion of World Education Day. He said that the youth should not only be students but also thinkers, inventors and responsible citizens.
President Zardari further said that the future of Pakistan is directly linked to the young generation and education instills curiosity, potential and character in the youth. He said that the guarantee of free and compulsory education under Article 25A of the Constitution is a reflection of our shared commitment to this fundamental right. He prayed that our collective efforts will guarantee peace, development and prosperity for the coming generations.
On the same occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also congratulated the students, teachers and parents on World Education Day and highlighted the government’s efforts to make the youth active partners in the education system, provide digital skills and vocational training.
The Prime Minister said that by promoting education, the youth will play a positive role in the society and lay the foundation of a strong, skilled and talented Pakistan. He asked everyone to reiterate their commitment to making the bright future of the youth the focus of the education and skills system.
