Islamabad (HRNW)- Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif today visited the High Commission of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to express his condolences on the passing away of former Prime Minister of Bangladesh and Chairperson of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party Begum Khaleda Zia.
The Prime Minister expressed his heartfelt condolences during a meeting with the Charge d’Affaires of Bangladesh, penned his impressions in the condolence book and offered Fateha for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
In his condolence message, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif paid rich tributes to Begum Khaleda Zia, describing her as a visionary leader and eminent political figure, who dedicated her entire life to public service. The Prime Minister said that Begum Khaleda Zia was a sincere friend and well-wisher of Pakistan and its people and left an everlasting and inspiring legacy in the politics of the region.
The Prime Minister expressed heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Government of Pakistan and the people of Pakistan to the family of Begum Khaleda Zia, workers of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, and the people of Bangladesh, and prayed that Allah Almighty may grant the departed soul a high place in Paradise.
