Lahore (HRNW)-Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif introduced the latest transport culture in Gujranwala:by laying foundation stone of Gujranwala Mass Transit System. They unveiled plaque of Gujranwala Mass Transit System project, and symbolically dug the foundation stone with a golden shovel. During his speech on the occasion, Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif congratulated the entire team while appreciating public service initiatives of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif. He also mentioned famous traditional dishes of Gujranwala in his speech. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif herself gave a briefing on Gujranwala Mass Transit System Project on the occasion. People chanted loud slogans on the arrival of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif in the ceremony, to which they responded by waving their hands.
People of Gujranwala were very much excited on the launch of mass transit system project in their city. Entrance of the event venue was decorated with beautiful steamers and panaflexes. An informative documentary film about the mass transit system was screened in the ceremony, where a beautiful 3D model of the project was center of attention of the audience. Ministers, Assembly Members, and PML-N ticket holders participated in the ceremony.
