PM Modi Jokes About “Eating Two Kilos of Abuse Daily” During Rajya Sabha Speech Amid Opposition Walkout

New Delhi (HRNW)- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking during opposition protests and a walkout in the Rajya Sabha, humorously remarked that the secret of his health is “eating two kilos of abuse every day,” referring to the criticism he has faced continuously over the last 25 years. Modi stated that from 2002 until now, not a single moment has passed without opposition parties verbally attacking him. Criticizing past Congress governments, he said that his administration has been working to correct previous mistakes over the last decade. Responding to opposition slogans, he noted, “They say Modi will dig your grave; this is not just a slogan but reveals their worst hatred against me.” He also recounted a historical anecdote about Indira Gandhi, who once mentioned that her father Nehru considered the 35 crore population of India at the time as a “problem.”
