Lahore (HRNW)- Police have identified a gang with the help of CCTV footage in connection with the overnight deaths and disappearances of pets in the township.
According to the police, a sweeper used to put fireworks in the animal feed at night and the animals died due to this firecracker.
Police say that local people caught the accused Shahid red-handed during the incident, and the residents made him a victim and handed him over to the police.
During his detention, the accused confessed to the crime.
Police say that the accused used to do this act in collaboration with an accomplice named Rashid, who has also been arrested. The accused used to sell the meat of dead animals at various shops, for which 8 cases have been registered against them.
