Karachi (HRNW) — During a patrol near Paposh Nagar Cemetery, the Paposh Nagar Police engaged in a gunfight with street criminals.
According to police, two suspects riding on motorcycles were signaled to stop, but they opened fire upon seeing the police team.
Police returned fire immediately, resulting in one suspect being injured and arrested, while three suspects managed to flee the scene.
The arrested suspect has been identified as [name withheld], while the fleeing suspects include Salman alias Salo and two unknown individuals.
Police recovered one 9mm pistol with live rounds and two mobile phones from the possession of the arrested suspect.
The spokesperson stated that interrogation of the injured suspect has begun, and further investigations are ongoing.
