Islamabad, Pakistan (HRNW)- In a significant update for international travel and diplomacy, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced a major improvement in the global ranking of the Pakistani passport. According to the Minister, the passport has climbed from the 126th position to 98th, marking a notable leap in its international standing.
Minister Naqvi stated that this rapid improvement reflects growing global confidence in Pakistan. He attributed the rise to the government’s successful diplomatic efforts and “stellar performance” in maintaining positive international relations. He further emphasized that this journey of progress will continue, with the government committed to providing more facilities and easier travel processes for Pakistani citizens.
The jump in ranking is expected to enhance travel mobility for Pakistani nationals, as passport rankings are typically based on the number of destinations holders can access without a prior visa.
