Pakistan Stock Exchange Hits Historic High as KSE-100 Index Closes at Record Level

Karachi (HRNW)- Trading on the Pakistan Stock Exchange ended in a historic fashion today, with the 100 index closing at a record high of 174,472 points for the first time with an increase of 576 points.

During the trading session, the 100 index rose by 908 points to reach 174,805 points for the first time. Out of the total 564 companies in the stock market, 282 companies increased in price, while 158 companies saw a decrease.

Shares worth Rs 830 million were traded on the Karachi Stock Exchange today, with a total value of Rs 44 billion.
