Pakistan Railways Breaks 30-Year Daily Revenue Record, Achieves Rs 300 Million Milestone

Islamabad (HRNW) Pakistan Railways has achieved a historic success in the revenue sector, breaking a 30-year record of daily revenue. According to Railways Minister Hanif Abbasi, the positive results of the reforms implemented in the railways during the last 8 months have started to emerge.

The Railways Minister said that due to significant improvements in both passenger trains and the freight sector, there has been an extraordinary increase in revenue, and in the last 15 days, the daily revenue of the railways has reached about Rs 300 million, which is the highest revenue in the last several decades.

Hanif Abbasi said that the reform process is underway to improve the performance of the railways, reduce losses and provide better travel facilities to the public, the positive effects of which will be more noticeable in the future.
