Milan (HRNW) The quota agreement signed between Pakistan and Italy marks a significant and positive step toward creating employment opportunities for Pakistani youth. Under the agreement, Italy has allocated 10,500 job positions for Pakistani citizens over the next three years, aiming to provide legal, safe, and dignified employment.
The quota will be distributed equally over three years, with 3,500 workers per year, covering both seasonal and non-seasonal jobs. Pakistani workers will have opportunities in sectors including agriculture, hospitality, healthcare, technical fields, and other skilled professions.

Officials say the agreement will not only discourage illegal migration but also allow Pakistan’s skilled workforce access to international labor markets.
It is hoped that the agreement will curb exploitation by illegal recruiters and provide Pakistan with an opportunity to boost economic growth through foreign remittances.
