Islamabad (HRNW)– Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar said his first meeting was in Moscow, where he represented Pakistan at the SCO conference on the Prime Minister’s directives. He discussed Pakistan’s economic priorities, energy cooperation, and regional connectivity.
Dar stated that during his visit to Moscow, 11 key decisions were made in the heads of government meeting, and constructive talks were held with Russian President Vladimir Putin on regional peace and the Gaza situation. He invited President Putin to visit Pakistan.

The Deputy PM emphasized that peace in Afghanistan is vital for regional stability. He said Pakistan remains open to dialogue with the Afghan government and reiterated that terrorism from Afghan soil is unacceptable. Dar added that Pakistan wants Afghanistan to prosper and clarified its stance to the EU during recent meetings.
