Islamabad (HRNW)– Under the directives of the Prime Minister, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), in coordination with the Pakistan Armed Forces, has launched a comprehensive relief operation for Sri Lanka.
A total of 100 tons of aid will be sent, including life-saving equipment, a 45-member Army Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) team, a field hospital, rescue boats, pumps, life jackets, tents, blankets, baby milk, food packs, and medicines.

The aid will be delivered through successive flights of C‑130 aircraft, with the first flight scheduled to depart tomorrow from Nur Khan Airbase to Colombo. Pakistan stands in solidarity with Sri Lanka during this challenging time.
