Pakistan, Egypt Discuss Strengthening Health Sector and Pharmaceutical Cooperation

Islamabad (HRNW)- The Egyptian Ambassador met with Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal, in which detailed discussions were held on the health sector, pharmaceuticals, capacity building and bilateral cooperation.

The meeting appreciated the effective collaboration between Pakistan and Egypt at global forums, especially WHO. The health sector has become an important pillar in the strong, long-standing and brotherly relations between the two countries, which was described as a positive example for the region and the world.

The Federal Minister for Health said that the two resolutions presented by Egypt at the 159th session of the World Health Organization are commendable, through which Egypt’s initiatives regarding precision medicine and fatty liver disease were appreciated.
