Pakistan Customs Seizes Gold and Commercial Goods at Jinnah International Airport

 

KARACHI, Pakistan (HRNW)- Pakistan Customs officials at International Arrivals, Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, intercepted 1,185 grams of gold jewellery along with a commercial quantity of cosmetics, perfumes, and handbags from a passenger arriving from the USA.

The seized items, valued at approximately Rs. 58 million, have been taken into custody, and an FIR has been registered under the Customs Act, 1969.

A spokesperson for the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) reaffirmed Pakistan Customs’ commitment to preventing smuggling and ensuring strict enforcement of laws at all entry points across the country.
